I came across 'Connect the Dots'.  I spoke with Lena and from day 1, she has been so professional, empathetic and understanding.  Her communication and professionalism is commendable. She helped take the stress and running around find a care facility  away.  She was wonderful in the way she considered our requirements, needs and budget. I cannot thank her enough for the work she put in and the stress free experience she ensured we had. My brother was in hospital and the Medical  staff advised us it was not wise for him to return home but needed to stay in a Care facility. We rang Connect the Dots and spoke with Lena . She was very helpful from the start and after providing her with all the relevant information  Lena provided us with details of a suitable place within a day. We inspected the property with Lena . We may have been lucky was this facility ticked all the boxes . Beautiful location ,easy access for most relatives and friends . The staff were amazing and caring . We were confident it was the right place for my brother . Lena has been extremely  helpful along the way and  followed up regularly to ensure we are happy . I have no hesitation in recommending Lena and Connect the Dots to anyone is placed with the difficult situation of having to find a Care facility for a family member . Hugh

I was advised that my mum could no longer cope at home and needed to move into interim aged care straight from hospital while I searched for a permanent place for her. It was an incredibly difficult and emotional decision. Once that decision was made, my first thought was, "Where do I even start?" The aged care system is so complex, with endless forms to complete, countless hours of research, and phone calls to facilities, only to be told there were no beds available. I also run two businesses, so I simply didn't have the time, knowledge, or expertise to navigate what felt like an overwhelming maze. That's when Connect The Dots became an absolute lifesaver. Courtney took the reins from the very beginning. She made countless phone calls, coordinated Mum's transition from hospital into interim care, managed the mountains of paperwork, and handled every step of the process with professionalism and genuine care. She then searched tirelessly for a permanent placement and found the perfect home for Mum—one that was among my top three choices. As a family we were forced to address the complex landscape associated with Aged Care and Residential care after our elderly aunt was hospitalised and deemed no longer capable of independent living. Lena assisted us in understanding the steps we were expected to navigate, locating a suitable care facility and securing permanent care for our aunt. With an aging population, huge variations in financial requirements and extremely subjective variations in offers of 'available beds', Lena's services were invaluable. Lena's caring guidance, vast knowledge and ability to explain simply and clearly the complexities associated residential care, made this incredibly stressful time manageable, achieving a relatively fast and highly successful outcome. I was given a list of brokers from hospital which I didn't even know was a thing but I'm so glad it is. I went through the list and came across Connect The Dots. I rang and talked.with Lena. Amazing person and so easy to talk with and found out exactly what I needed for my father. I'm a support worker and know quite a bit but this avenue was.brand new to me and I'm a carer for my husband as well so I didn't want to have to spend any spare time I have chasing a room in a residential facility.  I literally only had a couple of forms to fill out and Lena did the rest. Pretty sure it was like one week and I was on my first and only tour. Found an amazing place straight away. With caring attitude and great knowledge of the system and believe me you need someone who knows what's what. I got their details from the social workers from the hospital, gave  them a call and Lena joined me in finding mum a home. Lena is so welcoming and her support is awesome. Once we engaged Lena at Connect the dots, she took away much of the burden of the process and in no short time she had walked us through each step, got an understanding of what my father wanted, arranged and attended site visits, completed intake paperwork and ensured a seamless transition from the hospital. Throughout this process, Lena communication and followup was excellent, and her experience within the aged care system was invaluable as she asked the questions we did not even know to ask. Through a really taxing time, Lena was able to promptly find a suitable placement that both my father and I are really happy with. Lena had given us more time to spend together as a family rather than deal with administration tasks, and for that I am eternally greatful. I would engage Lena in a heartbeat again if needed.

"I would like to thank Ms Ashling M for her empathy, her concerted efforts to assist us through a very stressful time for us as we were seeking urgently for care for our aged relative who did not have her own immediate family as he was single. Ashling was amazing and walked us through what was required, and also suggested we go have a look/tour some facilities close to us for the relative. Within less than a week, we toured 3 Bupa Ac facilities which all met our criteria and within a week, due to change in our circumstances, the need to place my relative escalated.
